Hello! by Diane Marie Kellogg

By Diane Marie Kellogg

This is a quick introduction to let you know who I am and why I am here!

The why …. You all know Margaret Riley! She's a wonderful person who is one of the editors for the PWM Blog. She has decided I am up the challenge and I am now on the editorial staff for the blog.

She, along with Karen Brenden, the editor of Painting World Magazine, have encouraged me and inspired me. I hope to live up to their expectations.

The who …. I'll make this short and sweet. For those who don't know me, I've been a designer for 18 years now. I publish under Oil Creek Originals. I've been in the creative industries for most of my life. I started with ceramics, ended up working in a local arts and crafts store and took my first painting classes there. That is where I found my bliss. It has led me down many paths, all of it good. Conventions, a shop, a studio, designing, teaching... all of which have brought a myriad of painting friends and acquaintances.

Here's hoping for a long and successful run!
